We call it the “pro” version because it also includes fancy advanced encoding settings to let you create high-quality DivX videos with third party software that will playback on any DivX Certified device.
Note: The free DivX for Mac bundle includes a 6-month trial of DivX Pro Codec. To own the full version of DivX Pro Codec, get DivX Pro for Mac.
